LEGO 8971 Aerial Defense Unit

8971 Air Defense Unit is a LEGO Agents set released in 2009. The set includes seven minifigures, the air defense unit, the agents' helicopter, and the satellite transmitter. Three pairs of Agents body armor were also included in the set.

Working tri-blades.
Two units, the ADU (Aerial Defense Unit) and the satellite transmitter, make up the set. The ADU is the largest and most important part. At the front of the helicopter there is a cockpit that can accommodate two minifigures. The lid to the tub can also be opened. Pushing and sliding the top part of the tail (closest to the doors) with your thumb activates the tri-blades placed on top of the helicopter. The craft also has opening doors, which when opened reveal the troop compartment. It also reveals the zip lines that have the ability to connect to the body armor. This allows the Agents to hang in the air. The satellite transmitter serves as a base for the three Magma Drones and the Magma Commander.

Background
The ADU served as the agents' tools to destroy the Magma Commander, the Magma Drones, and the satellite transmitter.

These are the only agents set with the Magma Commander, the Magma Drones, and Agent Swift.
This set has an acronym similar to the "Alien Defense Unit" in Alien Conquest
