Build a Minifigure Juli 2024: Labrador en prinses als hoogtepunt

Build a Minifigure July 2024: Labrador and Princess as a highlight

Two months ago, in May, the last wave of LEGO minifigures arrived at the Build a Minifigure towers of LEGO stores. As always, I was in Essen and looked at the new figures and was unfortunately rather disappointed. We will now look at the seven new characters together.

Of the seven minifigures, the princess with the big dress stands out, but more about that later. The other figures are not that exciting and only have a few cool parts like the mime artist, the torso of the swimmer or the LEGO Store employee. The dog is also very cool, but other than that the pieces are nothing special. Unfortunately, the legs are all unprinted and only one figure has a second face.

LEGO Build a Minifigure Princess

The princess is the most interesting to me here because she stands out with her pieces and the color. She even goes very well with the pink empress from one of the last series of collectible figures. This one has a slightly different style, but with a different face and hair could you quickly merge the two. The white face of the new mime doesn't suit her so well, but it was worth a try.

Accessories

The accessories are more interesting to me than the figures. Here we have a perfect chance to get a Labrador and there is also a butterfly. The trophy and the medal also fit very well together. The telephone has only been around since last year, mainly in a few Friends sets, and is a nice change. I can't do much with the food, but I'm sure many people can use it to supplement their built shops.

Overall I am quite disappointed with the new figures in the Build a Minifigure towers. I can't do much with most of the characters, and most of the parts are also not really special. The legs are unprinted, the heads almost all have only one face and I don't see any thematic connection there.

Maybe it has something to do with the Olympic Games in France? The athletes and the mime are a great match. If you don't really want the princess or the dog, you might not have to rush to the nearest store. The next wave can only get better.
