Reserve LEGO sets

"You can't sell what you don't have", that is the philosophy behind introducing "reservations" of LEGO sets that have already been announced to come to our store, but have not yet arrived in our warehouse.

Because a "purchase - sale" is concluded according to the law when we deliver a LEGO set (item) to you in return for payment.

And what we don't have, we can't deliver to you.

Reservation: if you are sure you want to build the set.

Sets that are not yet on the market, or that we cannot yet sell to you, can be reserved.

The procedure for this works the same as when you buy a LEGO item that is in stock, but it is not a "BUY - SELL"... you know for sure that we will order a set especially for you and/or keep it aside.

You can indicate that you want the item sent to your address in due time, or that you will pick up the set in our store. You will receive a message from us when the set has arrived and that we will convert the reservation into an order.

What are your rights when making a reservation?

If you place a reservation for a LEGO set, we will convert your reservation into an order at the moment your LEGO set has arrived. The fee for the reservation corresponds to the price that the LEGO set will cost at the moment that the set can be delivered and therefore "sold". The amount that you pay as a reservation fee is therefore the price of the item when it becomes available

Compensation for booking

If you reserve an item online, we will ask you for a fee. It is no coincidence that this amount is equal to the amount that the LEGO set will cost if we are allowed to sell it to you. At the moment that the sets are allowed to be sold, we will convert the reservation into an order and the reservation fee into the payment. Easy, right! And if the set is cheaper at the moment that it is "for sale", we will refund the difference.

What is the difference between "Pre-Order" and "Reserve"?

Together with our lawyer we looked at the difference between Pre-Order and Reservation.

(art. 1-50): Purchase is the agreement whereby one party undertakes to give a thing and the other to pay a price in money for it.

Text of the law: wetten.nl - Regulation - Civil Code Book 7 - BWBR0005290.

Because we cannot "give" a set that we have not yet received, we speak of a reservation and not a purchase - sale or "pre-order)

Can you cancel your reservation?

Yes of course, and of course that is free of charge. After all, you have not yet purchased anything, but reserved it. At any time between the reservation and the moment you receive a message from us that the item has arrived, you can cancel the reservation. You will then receive, if you have paid a reservation fee, that amount back in full. Please take into account a refund period of approximately 7 days.

If you receive a message from us that the item has arrived, and your reservation is therefore converted into an order, you can also cancel it as if it were a normal order.
